This picture was taken in San Francisco 18 months ago but I guess is an image we might be familiar with from many big cities in the west.  I don’t think I have seen so many street homeless people in one place before than in SF and if ever there was  an image to demonstrate the unequal effects of austerity polices I thought this is the one.
